WHO WE ARE
MoonTales is provided by Pars Consultancy Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 12151384. Registered office: 6 Briarwood Drive, Northwood, Middlesex, England, HA6 1PJ. We are responsible for the personal information used to provide MoonTales. Contact: aliazizy@gmail.com.
INFORMATION WE PROCESS
Parent accounts: email addresses, authentication information and account identifiers.
Child profiles: parent-provided nicknames, age brackets and interests. Please use a nickname rather than a full legal name.
Stories: themes, moods, character choices, optional details, generated text and narration, favourites and story history.
Subscriptions: purchase identifiers, entitlement status and story usage counts. App stores process payments; we do not receive full payment card details.
Technical and support information: service logs, network information such as IP addresses processed by providers, and information you send when seeking support.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use this information to provide accounts, personalise and narrate stories, maintain your library, manage subscriptions and free allowances, answer requests and protect the service from misuse. Processing needed to provide the service is based on our contract with you. Security and administration may rely on legitimate interests; some records may be needed for legal obligations. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it by contacting us.
SERVICE PROVIDERS AND AI
Supabase provides authentication, database storage, backend services and story-audio storage. Google Gemini or OpenAI processes story-generation requests, depending on configuration. ElevenLabs or OpenAI processes story text to produce narration. RevenueCat and the relevant app store process purchase and subscription information. GoDaddy hosts this website, and email providers handle correspondence.
Relevant profile and story inputs, including nicknames and optional details, are sent to the story provider; story text is sent to the narration provider. Do not include addresses, contact details, health information or other sensitive information in story prompts.
Providers may process information outside the UK, subject to applicable provider agreements and data-transfer safeguards. Contact us for details of the providers and safeguards applicable to your data.
CHILDREN AND ADVERTISING
MoonTales is operated by parents and guardians for children aged 3–8. Children do not need their own account. The app does not request full legal names, exact dates of birth, addresses, precise locations, photographs or voice recordings. It does not offer public child profiles or direct child-to-AI chat. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Parents should review generated stories before sharing them.
RETENTION, SECURITY AND DELETION
We retain account details, profiles, stories and narration while your account is active to provide your library and settings. You may delete individual stories or request account deletion. Account deletion removes your sign-in account, profiles, stories and associated audio from active app systems. Limited records may be retained for legal obligations, billing disputes or security for as long as those purposes require. Provider backups and technical logs may remain until their retention schedules expire; app-store transaction records are managed by the store. Contact us for details of records retained in your case.
We use encrypted connections, authenticated access and database access controls. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
To request account and data deletion without the app, email aliazizy@gmail.com with the subject “MoonTales account deletion request”. Send from your registered email address where possible. We may verify ownership; never send your password. We aim to respond within one month. In the app: Settings → Account Details & Deletion → Delete Account. Deletion does not cancel a store subscription; manage that separately through Google Play or Apple subscription settings.
YOUR RIGHTS
You may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and where applicable object to or restrict processing. Contact aliazizy@gmail.com. We may verify identity before acting. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/

Our website is hosted by GoDaddy. It uses cookies and technical information to operate the site and analyse visitor traffic. You can accept or decline optional cookies using the cookie banner.
